ARTISTS' USES OF THE TERM 'REVOLUTION' DOUBLE CD

Alan Dunn has compiled his third thematic CD collection, this time exploring the manners in which artists have used the term 'revolution' over the past 100 years.

Takinginspiration from The Beatles’ 1968 collage ‘Revolution 9’, which does not evenmention the word, he has compiled two CDs of new and historically importantspoken word and music. Contributors include staff and students from LeedsMetropolitan University, youtube amateurs, Marcel Duchamp, Douglas Gordon,Belgian folk singers, riot grrls, Aldous Huxley, Cuban artists, Kurdish poets,Herbert Marcuse, the censored Sara Jones, Fluxus and German death metal bands.

Dunn invited aLevel 3 Graphic Design student to oversee the project's visuals, based on thesignature image of a former Art School in the North West of England the dayafter it was arson attacked in 2008.

Collectionproduced in edition of 1,000, distributed freely. Further info: http://www.alandunn67.co.uk
