Last chance to contribute to a rough &
ready tech-folk event championing a resurgence of art and craft through
technology!

DIY tech through youtube howto's, tech startups, circuit bending,
twitter hacks, Processing programming, arduinos, muios, MAKE magazine
and hackspace culture are making an impact on how we make art media and
music.

Interface Amnesty is a temporary shopfront and car boot for people
making and hacking or even selling their own interfaces and devices to make art and
music!

So come along contribute, get a table show off your device or just meet the makers and play

Email amnesty(at)soundnetwork.org.uk with your ideas for presenting
your devices. Each participant gets a table and power to present their
work informally to the public, must have a hands on element!

Our Lady Of Perpetual Succour Catholic Primary School in Widnes have collaborated with artist Ross Dalziel on a piece of music using the wonderful PixelH8's Tech Master Stroke chiptune software for Nintendo DS Lite and DSi.

The DS Orchestra will be performing at Space Invaders the latest showat FACT:

Space Invaders: Art and the Computer Game Environment
18 December 2009 to 21 February 2010

FACT explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between videogame spaces and real spaces with artists who use games as a subject, alongside playable, commercial games that push the limits of the medium.
